cant think of a title. HmM..

Jasmine has only left yesterday but I am already missing her lots but wells, hehe.. Hope she'l be doing great there so here I wish her all e best! HEHE.. =D
sigh` Im not online now, something ish so wrong with my brunet so Im writing this blog here in notepad first. Sigh, Im used to go online like everyday ledy but now that I cant, really feels a bit uncomfy ey =S Im watching the 'sadlovestory' now. It's the ending ledy. So sad but nice =) I like. From the drama, I learnt something ey. That ish to be true/honest about your feelings to your loved ones. Hehe.. and also, I only knew that the africans called their friend as someone who would share their pain[menanggung keperitan together] Hm, how nice ey =)
Anyways, lyn wanted me to blog how was my valentine's day rights so here Im going to blog about it. Wells, I was selling flowers lo that day from 10 o'clock in the morning til like 9pm and becus of that I cant go to the 'unofficial party' at jasmine's place. Sigh` =( Hmm, I received valentine's gift from 3 frens and a stranger. Hehe, a stranger eyy, LoL` he was asking me wut type of flowers would girls like so I jus bli-bla-bla to him lo then he decided to buy the 3 red roses. He paid for the flower then suddenly ask for my name. I told him then he gave me the flower and walked away. I was freaked out ey. He's a chinese guy,in his mid-twenties I think. Then later,he came again and asked for my name again and this time ask for my no and where I live. I told him I dont give no to strangers and told him I live at gdg area then he gave me his no and asked me to call him out some time for a drink. LoL` and I forgot his no ledy =) I remembered he jus wont go when I dint tell him my no so I text'd joshua to come quickly for rescue[like mayb I can tell him josh ish my bf.. Hahaha..] but.. Josh came after he left.. =s
Hmm, at first I thought it would be nice to receive flowers from ppl who buy flowers from me ey cuz before that guy came, my friends and I were like discussing how nice it would feel to receive flowers from ppl who buy flowers from ourselves. Who knows a while later this guy came and... the feeling was not good. It was scary actually, wells, to me la. Hehehe. So, that was about it. ^^
Sigh` when ish Md replying whether we are accepted to the school or not ey.I cant wait to go school ledy. I want to study now. I want to have homeworks. I want to be holding a pen and actually know what to write on a piece of paper. Hais` but I know,I would think otherwise when I actually start school. And if I am really accepted in Md, I know one thing I'l dislike for sure.. Tudongs!!! =s

ambush

remember me saying i'm making explosives to blow up jasmine's flight to melbourne so that she won't go? well it didnt work out. there were various reasons,
a) i couldnt really find ways to steal chemicals from the science lab.
b) i never woke up to go to school anyway.
c) i dont think i found the formula for the perfect explosive.
d) i dont wanna go to jail.

thus, this morning as i dejectedly prepared myself to go to the airport, knowing that jasmine would be gone, i decided that i simply had to come up with more subtle ideas which might actually work. then i noticed an empty nescafe bottle at the corner of my room. was there still anything inside that bottle? suddenly an evil thought loomed across my half-soggy-just-woke-up brain.

i reached the airport quite late, to be honest. shenny, alison, sarah, josh, watson and felicia were already there. i handed over the farewell gift i prepared for Jasmine. she asked what it was and i told her it's something in a fragile glass bottle. i made her promise me not to open it until she arrives in melbourne. we chatted a bit and after jasmine's parents joined us, all i heard was 1000 reasons why i should study in singapore from jasmine's mother. heheh.

departure time came only too soon. i already miss jasmine, shenny already misses jasmine. and im sure all the rest of the boy-world who had secret crushes on her since age 11 also will miss jasmine. we bade our "surprisingly not so sad" goodbyes and finally turned our heads away from the departure gate when the last strand of jasmine's hair disappeared behind the frosted glass doors.

6 hours later.
my phone rings. 4 messages received...
"amilyn ah, i got scolded by my mom ah. u shudn't have given me that. we cant bring into australia food and what more, it is a living thing. could have been fined or jailed. my mom's very angry, said i should've been clever enough to open it earlier and throw. she says you're crazy. sigh~ i should've told her i already opened it earlier (when we were at singapore on transit). anyway forget about it. be smart next time and never give anyone that to bring overseas in future."

dammit, she made it through the brunei customs undetected... and why does she sound so unperturbed??

oh, have i forgotten to mention that about 2weeks ago, i've scooped a spider off the floor into an empty nescafe bottle? it survived till this morning and i was wondering if it'd survived plane flights to melbourne ;)

the unofficial dinner party

HOW WE SPENT OUR VALENTINE'S DAY: pahhhh~ we did productive work! =)
shen: sold flowers part time for a florist at the mall (make her blog about it!)
jas & lyn: cooking. for boyfriends? ehmm.. no, sorry.

i was supposed to go to Jas's on Monday 13th after i go to school in the morning to finish my incomplete write-up in the yearbook. however i never turned up. here's what happened:

no sleep throughout early AM of 13th (eh, im nocturnal)
wide awake at 7am, took a one-hour shower.
8am: wait for dad to get ready, lying on bed for a short snooze.
woke up. time: 2pm. WAHHH!
plan postponed to the next day with Fel and Josh in tow ;)

now u must be wondering, why would Fel go cooking with Josh and I at Jasmine's when it's Valentine's Day? what about dates and stuff with Clinton? now that's another story, check out chocolatte.

so Fel and I went shopping at bandar for the lasagna ingredients tuesday noon.
[interjection] remember Jas Shen and Lyn made lasagna some time ago? wonder why we never blogged about it? *points to shen* she never handed out the photos we took! hahaha [/interjection].
josh was supposed to meet up with us at 12.30 at DQ but he was MIA. received a text message some time later:
You're wondering where the hell i am, im still at home. You can go off ahead without me.
I'll be there at Jas's myself. And if i get lost i will cry.

hmm.

thus Fel and I grabbed a few pizzas and blizzards. we were going by bus. jas and shen, i know u two hate taking bus, but im so sakai waaa i dont know how it feels to be taking bus! i like the experience! anyways, we reached jas's around 1:30 and josh wasn't around yet. so we lazed around and finally got to cooking around 3:30. oh, josh got there around 2++. he didn't get lost but he did almost cry. heheh.

in the oven!
"served upside down or it's free"

end product: YUM.
i think i was the only one to complain. hahaa =#

why i am happy: Amanda, the one who's picky about food, asked us
"Hey are you guys making pasta?"
"Are you guys gonna make it soon?"
"I'm hungry."
She loves us! She really really loves us! =D

Josh wudn't eat without his coke so we got ourselves 2 bottles of 1.5l coke. bloated. there was one reason why i suddenly called it an "unofficial dinner party". because while having the pasta at 6pm, there were live entertainment! whoo.

left the Yap house at 7:30, headed to themall to check out on shenny for a while, after sending Fel home. Shenny seemed to be having fun ;)

Happy Chap Goh Mei

Woah~ Time flies by really fast.. today ish Chap Goh Mei ledy[the 15th day of cny] Hmm, there'r still few houses I have not 'bai nian' yet.. =s Haha, aNyways.. this morning woke up quite early; 10.30+ [usually woke up at 11+ or 12..hehe] cuz Had to get ready and prepare to go chms. Oh yes..today chms had this 'lion dance performance' in the afternoon so yea.. whatever thing chms ish doing, I know, because my small sister will have something to do about it;dancing.

Arrived chms at around 12.30 and my small sister went to make up&stuffs. I went to find my frens then there I stayed til like 4. The hall was so full of people, and from bird's eye view.. it's like a group of ants surround their food. Haha. The whole show was nice. There'r people dancing, singing and also lion dance performances.

When I came home, I was so tired[due to last night;went to a friend's open house.] so I went to sleep then from 5+ til 7. At 7, woke up and went dinner with grandparents and aunty, uncles. So, that's more or less wut I did the whole day. Hehehe.. boring eyy.. =s

Hmm, tomorrow morning I have to wake up early ey as I start work at 10 in the morning. Hehe, Im going to sell flowers for two days'13th and 14th. Yesh, how pathetic..selling flowers on valentine's day BUT yea.. am a little glad that I'v something to do at least on valentine's day. Hehehe.. So, boyfriendsss out there.. come and buy flowerss FROM me TO your girlfriendsss ey.. HEHE.. cuz If all the flowers that Im suppose to sell are sold out quickly then I can offf early ey. Heeheehee.. =D

All say ish said ledy so yea.. Im off now. Forgive me my English ya. Im still learning and hopefully is improving. Haha.. I just dont know how to blog like lyn's, jas's, teo's, sana's, fel's and so many more great bloggers. Kekeke.. =P

a day of work

i was awake the whole day before yesterday, and at 10am i received a call from my aunt (you know, the cousin of the cousin of the cousin of mom, that kinda aunt whom u only visit once every new year, yeah.) asking if i wanted to help out at the L&P Recruitment Fair for Malaysian Colleges later as a receptionist. i said sure, it could be a good change from my routine of eat-sleep-tv-computer-ps at home. and my mom wants me to check out colleges/uni i might wanna get into now or some time after Alevels. or probably seek consultation.

and i needed a partner. Jas & Shen answered with a "i-just-woke-up-and-i'm-gonna-kill-you-for-ruining-my-sweet-dream" tone. haha im exaggerating. but why are u guys still asleep at 11am?? it's a beautiful day! have u no concept of time management? u know when my grandparents was ur age they've already made half the income for the day, and what more, you are young teenagers and...@#$%^&* HAHAHA. okayokayokay, it's not fair to use what my grandparents lecture me on u coz yea, they lectured me with that (the orange ones). u get the point, nuff said. and fel, ur maid said u were still asleep. and vee's gone!! bwaaaaaaaaaa or im sure she'll go with me. im so sure.

so there i was going alone, and then "maybe i'll call chunjing". so i did and amazingly, he came, hero swinging into action. in cheongsam. apparently he'd just gone to an open house and was going to another too after that. cute and so he accompanied the throughout the event. and i can say im a pretty bad person to accompany, i think i tortured him with my weird-ness and occasional negligence.

i was the very first customer, wooo! turns out that i could get a $4000 reduction if i were to take Alevels in INTI. or 50% waiver if i were awarded the scholarship in Disted-Stamford. and 25% waiver off tuition fees in NottinghamUni throughout the whole course of choice if I maintain a 65% and above score in exams. and some other stuffs i forgot. i was doing some thinking but decided i'd just stay in MD (considering that i do get accepted) despite the fact that i'd have to wear tudung. it's not so bad right? right? THAT'S WHAT YOU PEOPLE KEEP TELLING ME! IS IT TRUE?? and ALSO, im staying coz of Shenny. (HEHEHE). and Fel, and Clint, and [insert your name here. yes, you, the one who's staying in brunei. Jas, u keep off, i hate u. hahaha jk]

saw Flora who came just to check out options (like me!), Jason Lim who just came to check out options (like me!), Melvin, Chen Hui and Dennis who just came to check out options (like me!) oh damn, everyone just came to check out options k?? well there were a few who came with all their docs ready to enrol, and i thought that was pretty sincere.

after not knowing how to answer when the first few attendees asked me if i could recommend booths for the courses they were seeking, i decided to do a walk through myself and check out what each college/uni was offering. then i became the most talkative and informative receptionist i ever met. ahhahaha. well jasonlim's mom asked a lot of questions so it came in handy. and the girl who was seeking a college for her sis who got all As in Olevel but Es in languages. wooo. i knew how to answer them without crapping my way thru! hahaha.

X (anonymous for privacy purposes) pointed out there was a girl who, while filling in the info sheet at reception, muttered "im going to UK anyway" and gave me the white eye while i was asking what she was seeking. he thought she was pretty rude and arrogant, like who cares where's she going and if she probably should stay home and not come. it didnt really bother me, i'm just the receptionist doing my job and i dont know her and dont have to put up with her forever. plus, i thought she was pretty amusing. we shud have all these kinda attitude if we were to venture into sales or whatsover to do with customers. dont let it get personal! hehe.

Jasmine is so cute and i love her for being so blur and so cute. and so cute. here's a near to exact sms session:

jas: hey lyn, called u eh. no answer one. i think today cant.
me: i called u back later but u were out and mobile engaged. where were u?
jas: oh, went to education services. so how?
me: me cant either so nvm. im centrepoint nw. come here.

jas: huh? wat u doing there?
me: some edu thing. helping out as favour. if u coming bring me food.
jas: ohh. what do u want to eat?
me: hah? u serious? sushi then!! haha. are u coming?
jas: err sushi? cannot la, broke. something lower price can?
me: HAHAHA you ARE serious! my god. just come.

and she came few mins later with a set of fastfood. i her!! i cant believe she really got there for me. haha =) (jasmine, dont kill me, i actually wasn't hungry at all. and i didnt eat it but i brought it home to grow mould. im not gonna throw them away, ever! but i drank the coke already, i WAS thirsty)

umm i think most people who i knew who came, asked me if im working for L&P? hehee noo im just doing my aunt a favour. and do i get paid? hey! that didnt occur to me! should i get paid? nahh.. i didn't really care, i was there for *purposes stated at beginning of blog*. but right before i left, my aunt handed me $$$ and thanked me for helping her out on short notice and asked if i wanted to do it again if they needed help next time. SUUUUUUREEEE. just sitting there and getting $$$ ? easy job with double average pay. of course, i wudn't wanna do that for the rest of my life, but occasionally? why not. well honestly i didnt expect to get paid lah. woo. chunjing left before i did so he didnt get his pay. he could have (my aunt was still holding a wad of $$). hohoho.

well i was supposed to go visit an open house with him at 6 but the event dragged on and he had to go coz his bro was waiting..already more than an hour, since his work finished at 5. i couldn't leave yet so i told him to go without me. and i felt bad. its like i made him accompany me the whole day for nothing. maybe i'll forget about the $10 he owes me from the bet we made.

he said no one will open the refreshments we had for the guests (shut tight in tupperwares) i bet yes. and he said it doesnt count if i open it. i said okay nonchalantly. honestly i didn't have a plan in my head to make someone open it, but i just somehow felt that SOMEONE, at least ONE person, will open it up. HEH. i was right.

case victim #1 - jason's mom

yakkity yak about the event and me being jason's schoolmate and my results. silence. then...
her: what are these?
me: oh they're biscuits and cakes. try some.
her: no i shouldn't, had too much throughout cny. still have a lot at home.
me: mdm.lim made them, u really should try it (she was here for mdm.lim)
her: really? *giggles* maybe if it's good i could get the recipe from her.
me: yes yes yessss, open it up
she was probably confused why I wasn't opening it for her but i didn't care. im on a mission.
her: emm.. okay. *opens the container*

*i nudge chunjing to make sure he saw it. and smiled sweetly at jason's mom*
she never knew what it was all about. after she left..

me: oh yeah, oh yeah, $5 in the pocket!
chunjing: hey that's not fair! u made her open it!
me: so i'll make a good salesperson. i still win.
chunjing: . . . .
me: woohoo~

case victim #2 - the funny consultant from INTI

*he walks past the reception and notices the tupperware*
INTI consultant: hey can i have some of that?
me: of course!
INTI: thanks, just needed a snack.
me: no problem!
*nudges chunjing REAL hard*
me: HEH! what can you say now?
chunjing: *sigh*
INTI: *blank look* what?

i told him about the bet and he laughed. poor chunjing. $5 each! *cha-ching* would be much more than just that if i were to mention the other self-servicing consultants thereafter. lol.

a good day for finance. totally worth 40 hours no sleep.

I'm Back !

Didn't expect my blog to be this long.. skip any part that seems boring! nyeah :)

Time really flies. Was in KL since 23rd Jan till 5th Feb, basically to celebrate Chinese New Year and do some shopping as well. Who can skip shopping in KL anyway, right? hahah.. spent too much on cross-stitching stuff..rm 112. bleh..really too much, but they're rare and I can't just find them anywhere in KL nor in Brunei. 3 nice patterns..which probably might take me about 2-4 years to complete them all. What a hobby, which takes time and might increase my short-sightedness! Erm.. other things bought include clothes (this is for sure..it will never be out of my list of bought things), slippers, bag, nice nice earrings.., what else? i forgot..haha, etc etc...

Like Lyn, I had some nail art treatment. My mom was having her facial done in this beauty centre and seeing that I had nothing to do and my auntie was doing her nails, I looked around and admired the pretty designs on the fake nails which are samples. My super-nice auntie then asked if I wanted to do mine and of course I would love to. So, in the end , after choosing from soo many designs, I opted for this simple looking one.

Results came out one day before the exam and it totally freaked me out. I was asleep halfway..and when i woke up, I saw an sms from my dear saying that the results are out.. haha u can't imagine how i leapt out of bed and quickly called him..hehe. Was quite surprised at my results.. i expected worst..hehe. So so.. now i have higher chances of going overseas to study in future..yay~!

My first two days of Chinese New Year were spent collecting ang paos and going to the movies with my sisters and cousins.. watched 'The Shopaholics' and 'My Kung Fu Sweetheart' which both coincidentally feature Cecilia Cheung as their main actress. Many shops were closed in the shopping centre where the cineplex was located due to Chinese storeowners spending quality time with their family during the festival. This then results in people like us who go shopping during this time having limited shops to get into. hehe, only about 30-40% of the shops were opened.

Third day was much better. My family and I went up to Genting Highlands to spend the night. My feet were aching by the end of the day. We just kept walking walking and walking. The whole place was very crowded with lots and lots of people. I can't walk without banging into someone every now and then. I heard that it was always like that during the festive seasons. I remembered once when I went there during Hari Raya where I experience my first human traffic-jam. I had to squeeze into every inch available to move forward. Everyone was filling every single space possible. The weird thing is the place was opened till around 4 am or 8 am ( i forgot which, it was printed on the poster) starting from 31st jan till 2nd feb. So I was actually watching the lion dance on the centre stage at 11 pm..so many people were watching I was wondering why they don't need sleep. Then shopped there till about 1 am.. the whole time I was feeling weird and kept asking Amanda why are we shopping at a time like this and stating how crazy we were. hehehe...really crazy wahh, to me lar. Then at 1-2 am, my sisters were playing in the arcade centre with me constantly complaining how painful my feet were.

Went on this float after these people in it left. The bird one is nicer...but then we can't choose so we had to take the flower one. There's another one which is a whale..the nicest of all. Didn't take a picture of it but took a video instead. And I didn't ask that guy to look at the camera..haha

Amanda wants credit for the pictures. So, thanks to Miss Amanda Yap Tong for taking these pics..hahahha. so formal. You'll notice that I'm not in the pictures. It's cause I've taken pics the previous time I've been there..so this time I malas already and didn't take any.

The next few days..we spent time at home with my relatives until the day we came back..

Everyone's going their own paths..how sad :( Wonder when we're gonna meet again. Gonna miss you guys. We're entering the cold world beyond high school. hehe, dunno if it's gonna be cold or not..that's what i assume. it might not be.. we'll see yeah. Definitely it'll be much more tougher in terms of work that has to be done and the amount of thinking needed. As well as the amount of concentration.. i feel like i'm not that trained in that part. If something's boring, I'll tend to drift away from concentration. One more thing - Revising. It's not easy man.. I've always been kind of a last minute person. But however, my goal from now on - never to start revising late. I actually experienced the benefit of revising early..hehe I can tell u, it helped a lot last year for the o levels. I'm glad I realised it early enough.

Okay, i'm done blogging..

2020 First Post

So 2020 started badly overall for everyone, with world disasters keep coming. However I didn't think it was bad as I was still looking...
