WATCH TRAILER:

( i realise a lot of u find the video not loading, so here's the URL:

)

Farid plays an frustrated (and deranged) father, who has found his daughter, played by Ms Frog, trying to get into the boy's toilet. evidently, reverse psychology did not work; as when he shooed his daughter into the toilet, she really went in.

What do you think? Did she do it to spite her father? Or did she really want to enter the bathroom?

"kids these days. they've no shame. girls want to go to the boys' bathroom. hmm."

So Sick.

No, i'm not talking about NeYo's bloody song.

"I" am so sick. As in physically unfit. I'm still mentally sane.

Last week i was caught with both menstrual cramps, slight fever AND a horrible sore throat. i had never experienced anything like it. I reckoned the sore throat came from the megavolumes of bromine and sulphurdioxide i breathed in from chemistry practicals. well, our teacher let us deal with the concentrated acids ourselves. accidents were inevitable.

anyways, the chem teacher mentioned, paraphrased, "If you breathe in SO2, it could dissolve into your saliva and form H2SO3 (don't we all know that that's sulphorous acid). And if you are unfortunate enough, a sore throat is what you would end up with". i was warned. but how the hell did i know that bromine had the same effect??? i dont know what kinda acid it forms, HBr?? i gulped in breathfuls of the bloody gas without realising its effect, i was still hopping around the class in glee of the brown vapour, the blue and the violet vapour i conjured. heh. almost fainted in school (nah, it wasn't that bad), went to the doctor, went home, tookmy drugs and slept. 17 hours straight. woke up with worse throat. i felt like my throat cells denatured or something. it felt as if it was cooked. hardened. it felt like a sunburn. what am i saying? so that marks the beginning of my deteriorating health. death is near, i can feel it! !@^&*()(^%$#@

i got better a week later. A WHOLE WEEK! and then, AND THEN, AND THEN!!! and then i was struck with flu. garh! i asked for tissues everywhere i went. when it comes to tissues i can never be self sufficient. i am not a tissue person. i dont carry unlimited tissue supplies wherever i go, unlike most girls. and i am definitely NOT a hankerchief person. can you imagine that? goo all over your hanky, from your nose? YUCK.

ok. optimism. yes yes. i can feel the bugs go away. i can feel it! YES! *sniffle, cough, cough, sniffle* YES IT WILL GO AWAY! smile. C=

some people are helping. it's so ironic that Jon who has a sworn hatred against chocolate is the one supplying me with my daily dose of browngooeysweetyummyheaven. hey, it IS helping me get better. it's helping me get fat, and fat is GOOD. admit it, fat people are nice to hug. HUG ME! you'll love it. HAHAHAHA. yea, i think im getting better.

Now here's an amusing conversation:
PersonWhoAdoresAmilyn: Hey
Amilyn: Hey
PWAA: What's wrong?
Amilyn: What? oh, im sick.
PWAA: yea i know that, but it looks like it's more than just that.
Amilyn: huh? yea i've never felt more sick before, i haven't been to a doctor since.. i was 5.
PWAA: you know, you seem pretty down these past two weeks, like someone's slowly draining the life out of you.
Amilyn: hey, im smiling everyday. what can be wrong
PWAA: im not about to get psychiatric and tell you i see something hidden behind those smiles
Amilyn: i'm just feeling tired and worn out alright?
PWAA: i know it's more than that. come on, you can tell me.
Amilyn: wacko. *runs off*

Schoolwork arghh~!

Hi everyone..

finally left my laziness aside for a while and decided to blog something out. Actually it's not laziness, it's work! haha. I'm in the library now ( again blogging in a library).. but not in the same one i was at during the previous time. this library is one of melbourne uni's libraries and they open till 11 pm so it's more convenient. What am i doing here? Researching for information from some crappy and difficult-to-understand-the-English books. Had to do an essay of 1200 words, must be academic style writing. sighhh. I don't even know what's relevant in the books that I have to look up from. And it's like only a few pages of the whole book that are needed and there's a list of books. haha, sorry i'm mentioning "books" too much. but yea..so frustrated about it.

Holiday was long gone a week+ ago. Went to visit some places that i've never been to before, and shopped and cross-stitched and watched lots of not so recent movies on DVDs. Went to the movies twice to watch "V for Vendetta" and "Scary Movie 4".

Hmm....I miss playing the piano. Although I suck like hell at it.. I still would love to play it for myself to hear..haha. Not for any of u..cause what happens is even if I know a piece and have played it very well to Myself (not that my family don't listen to it when i played but they probably didn't take notice that much) , I still can't play well in front of people. Definitely I'll hit the wrong notes and keep repeating and then can't continue already. Over-malu hahaha.

Oh yea, back to school stuff, this term is much worst than the first. Two essays to do, drama monologue exam ( i can't act man!!...with all the facial expressions, gestures and breathing, so difficult) , and not to forget, studying for my elective subjects (maths 1, maths 2 and physics). I'm slacking in them and not keeping up..so during tutorials I'm so way back behind the others. Gotta keep working IF i can. And i hope i can.

Yesterday, I went to Karaoke to sort of celebrate a friend's birthday. It was fun..hehe, considering I never really officially sang in a real karaoke place before. Of course, I didn't drink alcoholic stuff lar, drank cocktails like "Shirley Temple", "Island Paradise" and "Tequilla Sunrise". I like the way they named their drinks..very cool names. If you wanna know other names i can tell u..haha u ask me urself. Cause some sound too obscene. There was this drink (alcohol) called "Flaming Lamborghini" (I think it's spelt like that..cause i just heard the name only). Very cool.. they light the drink and on top of the liquid's surface, there'll be fire flaming..then u have to straightaway drink it to the middle of the glass without stopping..then they'll pour two other small glasses of something blue and something white into the glass and u continue drinking till finish. haha, dunno why i feel that lyn and shen would love to try that.

Anyone know Justin Lo? the hong kong singer? I like his songs..nicee. Or else have u heard of Stephy from Cookies, Alex Fong or Lau Hou Lung (don't really know this dude)? They're gonna have a concert here and I'm still wondering if I should go. Lowest ticket price is $49, but i doubt they're still available, most probably sold out. I was thinking I shouldn't go cause I only like one of them and it's quite a waste of money to see the others that i don't really idolise. Let's move on to another singer. Have u heard of an Australian group called "The Veronicas"? Two twin girls. Very funky fashion sense and their songs are good. Vocals not bad. They held a small little concert last week and after school, I went to watch. It's collaborated with Channel V australia. But then ah.. I can barely see a thing. Most of them are the white people, ie. the local Australians. Damn tall..blocking my view. I had to shuffle left and right..jump jump every now and then, then only can see. Anyways..still managed to catch more than about 10? glimpses of them.

Well, those are quite random stuff I've said. Just wanna blog cause long time didn't do so. Now I'm off to reading the damn books again.

a way to spend saturday night

do voluntary work.

Elisa asked me if i wanted to volunteer being an usher for the Sapphire Crystal Nite thinga where Victor Wong (aka Ping Guan) would be performing. Jia Ying's aunt's one of the organisers or something, so we get to do the jobs.

"SUre, easy peasy job and i get to watch a concert. why not?"

so saturday came and i was feeling awfully sleepy but i had to drag my ass over to el's place so we could go together and not get lost somewhere in JP. we got there about 6:30. decided to go for dinner. strolled around the restaurant areas. not very appetizing. saw veronica and aunling but was blind so did not realise it.

"hey el, your friends kah, they're smiling at you"

"no, i dunno them lah."

walk over.

"OHH hi aunling, hi vero, sorry, i was blind."

they were there to catch the concert too =). got some drinks and walked to the amphitheatre. what a long walk! (forgive me, even 50m is too long for me, im not a healthy person.) carmen's mom passed by us and stopped, to ask directions from a security guard. el and i shouted "CARMEN! GIVE US A RIDE! CARMEN!" and she just ignored us. hahahahaha. actually her mom's kinda scary so we just kept quiet and walked on.

being the usher is kinda interesting. a first time experience for me!=D i memorised the seating arrangement at one glance of the map (it was easy wah!) i was serious about my job okay! hahaha =D

my tag. even though it's ugly as hell, we had to give it back by the end of the show. (something bout using it for the next show... performed by Guang Liang?) i wanna volunteer again!

stood myself at the entrance, going "do you need help looking for your seats?" at every other person. some just acted like as if i was transparent. it didn't affect me hehehe i wont be seeing those people any time in future anyways, and even if i did, i wouldn't remember them and neither would they remember me so yeah. service with a smile =D haha

the concert started only at 9pm! and it was drizzling. kfft. opening act started off with 3 local female artists. one of the works in the MoE, sang kiroro's miraie and sinaran by one of the popular malay artist whose name i forgot. not bad. then came the main show, Victor Wong!! he's not hot, he's not so famous, but he's SO nice, SO sweet, and from what i heard he has really soft hands. hahahaha. 80% of the audiences ran and crowded the front (including us ushers hehehe) to have a "close look" at him. he said "wow, i've never had such passionate audience." look at the crowd!!

nah, im just bluffing. the amphitheatre was barely half filled. so sad. but we were a good audience, we were very supportive. once again, quality over quantity!! 2 girls went up stage mid-song to give him flowers (awww..)
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
no, they weren't making out, he was giving her a hug.

Victor gave us, what i can say, the most interactive concert i've been to (not that i've been to much anyways). he came off the stage a couple of times to shake hands with alllllll the audiences. so nice of him. and he had a request section, playing all songs we wanted to hear. me and the rest of the ushers sat RIGHT AT THE CENTRE, in the FRONTMOST. hahahaha. on the floor. not so glam now, isn't it. LOL. did i mention he's a wonderful guitarist? i am gonna marry a guy who can play guitar like that. acoustic one, i mean. oh and of course, we must not forget, i will also marry a guy who can play saxophone. and his voice is oOoOOOooooo....

after the concert there were dozens of people approaching us with questions like "are his CDs still on sale?" (we were selling them at the entrance before the concert started) "do you know when is the autograph session?" (the next day, sunday 30thApril, AsmaHotel) "do you know his phone number?" hahahaha just kidding. i'm convinced he bagged some fans with his performance. he was THAT lovable.

2020 First Post

So 2020 started badly overall for everyone, with world disasters keep coming. However I didn't think it was bad as I was still looking...
