Woaahhh.. I STINK..

heheh, Nolar.. I stink of smoke from cooking. I love the sambal belachan paste I bought.. cooked it with asparagus.. smells so gooood.

I tried making that sweet potato balls we learnt to make in Cooking club back in Primary 6, but it sucked. I put in too much glutinous rice flour and when I fried it, it tastes like fried tang yuen (which means it's very gooey inside) or fried mochi. DAMNNN..

Currently, life is so busy. So many things left undone.

There's this I-GAMES coming up, which is a competition between "international" Engineering(IESS), Medicine(IMSS), Law(ILSS) and Commerce(ICSS) students, so as part of IESS, I had to help out with things. I and another guy are put in charge of netball. Sigh. I know NOTHING about netball. The only time I remember playing it was during PE with Sheeba, but I don't remember anything already except that the net doesn't have a board(like basketball) attached to it and you can only move three steps after u've acquired the ball. Anyway.. lucky I'm not playing.. I'm just going to arrange for trial runs and trainings and sort of be like coach. ahhaha but coach doesn't know how to play..wth. And that's on Friday.. only got how many days left man...

Then there's the Finance essay to be due, and the signals lab not done (which I'm meant to meet up with my partner sometime this week to do it, haven't even contacted her yet man), and then studying of course! 4 more teaching weeks and then it's exams season again. Just checked my exam timetable, crammed up like hell. 14, 18, 19, 21 NOV. So I can go back earlier(but again, haven't called Sgpore Airlines to change date).. so happy! Last day of exams is on 28th. Thank goodness!

Last week has been busy busy busy. As soon as holidays start, it's birthday.. hehe. Had two days of celebration and then that's two days of studying wasted. Then after that the next day, had to go around buying stuff for camping. And then wed-fri, camp. Haihh.. then sat of course REST DAY, damn exhausted man. Then sunday... lazy day.. went to watch Wall-e, which as expected, wasn't that great. Dunno why I'm just not a fan of animated movies, man, next time I shouldn't be influenced to go watch anymore of these cartoons. Then today housewife day, clean this clean that and cook.

Birthday pics are on facebook so go there and see.. I'm so lazy to post any here.

Ski trip..heheh.. that's like freaking two months ago.. I'm such a procrastinator, until now still haven't upload them.

Camping was GREATTTTTTTTTTTTT!!

Went to the oldest MAZE in Australia, saw & TOUCHED so many farm animals including horses, goats, sheep & lamb(very damn annoying, cannot be away from the mama/papa sheep one), koalas, cows, etc. OOh, and ate chicken egg that is freshly laid, barbequed on a campfire, slept in a tent, camped by the beach and in the farm, cycled 10 km (one way) to and fro, so that makes it 20 km, enjoyed the scenery of green green pastures (very nice) while cycling, went to two different beaches, experienced the countryside life, dipped in the hot springs and the list goes on.

We also could have, but unfortunately didn't, gone to wineyards where they produce wine, pluck strawberries (but it wasn't the right season, it's still too cold nowadays), ride horses and visited some place where u can see alot of other native Australian animals due to the time constraint we had. Imagine rushing like hell, and having only five minutes left to board a ferry to the countryside island(French Island). It was crazy, we were running like hell with shitloads of stuff to carry.

Anyway.. I really can't find that much time to upload pics... and don't think I'll have any in the upcoming weeks. I'll see how.. if I get the crazy mood to waste away two hours just to upload pics, then I might just do it.

Tick tock tick tock, time is running out. I have a whole semester of 4 subjects' materials to stuff in my head. AHHH.. I have to do well this time.

N-O spells NO!

it's stupid to pretend to be okay when ur not okay at all; the feelings shucks MUCH until i think no one can describe........ sighs~
these few days I'v been 'haha'ing and 'lol'ing in msn with frens very fake-ly cuz i havent been feeling really great lately, so u see.. msn can really cover up one's emotion and feelings so well. No wonder there are some people who never got to know the true feelings of someone to themselves, uh..im not talking about me :)

sighs`hearing the word 'NO' from her HURTS more than anything and just now I wished I could stop the tears from running downwards.

i think i will not speak to her very soon;my mother. uh, dont ask me what happened cuz I dont want to mention about it unless you all want to embarass me more :) sorry and thanks.
The purpose of me blogging this out is I really dont feel very good and I just need to throw this feeling offf my chest so I could feel better, and I think I seriously feel a bit bit better? ah, whatever.

ayeeee, what an emo blog ey.. so don't really need to mind this post aite people.. =)
off to bed now.

a lil message for someone special on this day,

''Happy 20th Birthday to Jasmine Yap!!
hope u'd a great time there on this special day of yours.. :)
and also best wishes to u!
*hugs*''

some random stuffs I did today and want to blog about..

I woke up around 7am then daddy brought me to work at around 8am, and work til 5pm. Work was as usual, but today played a lot of bingos' with Jenny and BoonChin..and lol, I win Jenny a lot of times but not when Boon Chin joined. doink doinks~ uhwells, jus some pictures about it...

my bingos' ;)

So after work, we all went to sungkai at Sri Patik at the airport mall, as planned few days ago. The food was not so bad, and this I can say my first time sungkai with the malays? hehe.. we all followed what they do, and that is to take the food first and put it all around the table and wait for the 'drum-roll' from the radio then only we start eating. LOL`

The food we took and '拜美' there.

uh, Jenny and I will never forget to vain vain before eating=p

and when we start to vain, everyone else started to vain too.. :)

the guys, and the girls below.

more or less the same pictures can be found here @fawee's bloggie.

We ate til around 8ish and we were all so FULL FULL FULL, and so we decided to go jalan jalan somewhere[uhwells, where else if not gadong right..lol] so we all went to gadong and lepak'd for a while and then Bunny, Yenthin and Jung came and meet up with us.

As usual we went to the mall arcade to shoot some hoots, played some other games, chit-chatted then around 10ish everyone went home. Hmm, found two more pictures to upload, and the missing person in the picture is the camera-man; Pk :)

So that's basically about it.

SATB [''something about the blogger'' -copy from Jayden and Kp; the brothers.lol.]

ahhh` finale feel a bit better better after blogging, yes I was not feeling very great just now before blogging. emo+moody+many negative feelings laaaa... maybe it's because of the songs I was listening to, maybe. Maybe it's this, or that too. lalala whatever, dmm~

... and hmm, dont you all think it's annoying to pretend to be okay when you dont feel okay at all. I wished I could just 带过the stupid 'not okay' feelings but at times, it's just difficult and what is worse, when things dont go the way you want things to be. It's just annoying, irritating and torturing. arghhh~

Also right now, I'm learning and trying very hard to do what my pm in my msn says, and that is to 'give more and expect less' in EVERYTHING I do; be it in my studies, my family, friends and my love life...

I hope I'll succeed. I really hope I will.

my wednesday..

Okay, so I admit I've been quite lazy to blog lately.. been busy with school stuffs and has been doing a few sports lately too, to keep fit..uhwells, dieting actually cuz I thought I am getting fatter each year. lol, dmm~

So today is wednesday and I have no class on wednesdays. I'v started to work again in my ex-workplace;fcts, and this time is very part time as I only work on wednesdays and sundays. So as usual I woke up around 10ish and then went to work at 1.30 to 5pm. Work was quite fun with Jenny because we basically just chat and chat, but we do do our work la.
After work today, we decided to go try out the new shop in gadong; snowhouse. It's a restaurant that sells ''snow drinks?'' lol, dont know how to describe eyy. Oh, if u guys have watched the singapore series 'Love at zero degree' then yeahs.. it's something like that kind of shop. The place was not so bad and the drinks and food there was good too. I guess now we'll have a new place to hang out dy, but too bad it closes at 10pm. hmm...

Anyways, the plan tonight was actually to watch movie and we changed our mind from watching 'mamma mia' to '4bia' but atlast we didnt watch any because sighs` the mood for movie just somehow, flew off. We then discussed where to go at MCD and finale we chose De Fountain to sit&drink. Carmen and Aneurin then joined the few of us at De Fountain and we chat chat chat and from De Fountain we changed to Cafe De Paris.

Uhwells, tonight was not so bad afterall, because recently our outings have been dull and just dull. I learned a few things too today and sighs` now then I know I'm really quite 'Sampat' in some things.. uhwells, all these while I thought it's not necessary to know a lot in these things ao yeahs. Hahaha, I guess u guys are curious now on what I'm saying eyy... hahaha. Just dont mind me. lol.

So just some updates about me in UBD now.

So far, everything has been going on smoothly for me. My lecturers are all fine, except for their way of teaching sometimes is a bit doinkdoink[as in really DOINK, ok dmm if u dunt understand..] and just some really random things I'd like to say here,

1) I am really glad that I'm in the same course/class as Jenny Eng. She's hardworking, and smart and I THINK I'LL most probably be jealous and envious when she finish her work or study and in that sense, I THINK I'l be motivated to do my work and also study kaliah.

2) She is currently on diet as well and grrrrrr she has already slimmed down so much lerrr and she's on diet again, so hahaha... MOTIVATED again. lol..

3) uhwells, I can add so many more numberss below but eyahs.. basically.. Jenny jenny jenny.. I'm going to see you for another 3-4 years, so please please please, bear with me ok. If I do anything wrong or u think I should work harder or something u behsong me.. JUST SAY IT[lol, nike~ haha]

ok that was so random... anyways, also I've got to know a few interesting people in UBD..and so I guess I'll enjoy myself very much in this coming 4years, and also I have an aim to reach for this coming 4years..and that is, to apply for yellow ic and apply scholarship for master? SO I HAVE TO KEEP CONSTANT ON MY STUDIES..

ok, I think that's about it for now..because I'm on the phone now... :P

Till my next blog :)

I'm so excited!

HAHAHA...wah I AM DAMN EXCITED.

Ok, ppl who live in Sgpore(*ahem* Lyn) can disregard my excitement..haha
But right, IF u are a reader of Xiaxue's blog, u'll super get what I mean.

I thought that Singapore Day that was held in New York was just a once-off thing, only for New-Yorkers to commemorate their day..blabla. And then that Xiaxue girl was there, with Rozz doing the video part, and then there was "Eugene" from "i not stupid" movie, then there was even GETAI performance..ohmygod. Speaking of getai, I was watching this movie, the last time, on my way back from Melbourne to Brunei on the plane. It's called "Papaya" or "881".. soo damn boring but still watched it throughout. Keep singing Hokkien songs with awful over-colourful costumes. Didn't know these performances existed in Sgpore until I watched that movie (which even has a cameo of the May and Choy sisters from MTV). Goodness, the singing and dancing are really really LAO TU (old-fashioned) man.

Hady Mirza's gonna be there too. I bet any of u know him more than I do. Only thing I know is that he won Singapore and Asian Idols. I've never heard any of his songs.

Ok, anyway, I've blurted too many randoms which don't flow very well..hahaha

Anyway, ok, my point is THEY'RE GONNA BE HERE IN MELBOURNE NEXT!!!
Funny why it's held here next.

Yay, happy! Can see who u know?

PHUA CHU KANG AHHHH!

hahahah, he's gonna be here with his PHUA family. Can't wait.. i love that show. He's so damn funny.

Then this uncle from Newton's circus who sells the best char kuey teow in Sgpore apparently. I was there last December.. and walked past his stall. And like "EHH" and I excitedly pointed out to my sis that this is the stall that Xiaxue and Rozz had their charkueyteow challenge for the series Girls Out Loud. And he was also asked to go to Singapore Day in New York. So I THINK I'm gonna see him again. By the way, I did order a plate of his award-winning(in Sgpre) charkueyteow.. hehe, sad to say, not that nice. It's like my cousins and I ate it, looked at each other weirdly and exclaimed that any charkueyteow in KL could beat that..hehe. No offense, but it's a fact :P But I love the panggang squid and stingray and oh-jian and all the yummy seafood. I want to eat chilli crab and ais kachang (reminds me of PCK's mama).

Apparently for this Singapore Day, they're going to fly their ingredients & their chefs all the way from Singapore as well, so food should taste the same as back in Sgpore.

But there's bad news!

I registered online.. coz the food is FREE, so u gotta register. And of course, on nationality, I had to click Malaysian, in case they check passport/IC right? Then I got this message saying places are limited and the event is supposed to be for Sgporeans only. BUT we Malaysians who registered will be wait-listed. Just hope I get a spot. I registered today on 18th September, and it's gonna be held on 4th October. What are my chances of being able to attend this? High, I hope :-(

Blah

I dunno what to blog about eh..

I have nothing in mind.

Ok, let's see what I can churn up.

I know I've been SO god-damn busy this week. I've been anticipating the end of the week ever since the week started. EEsh.. got two mid-semester tests and 2 lab reports to write and an assignment to do. My mind was drained. I was damn tired and became sleep-deprived. Phew that now I'm a little bit more free and easy.

One more week of studies and then it's gonna be the September break. Hooray! It's gonna last for about a little more than 2 weeks. Can hardly wait.. I deserve a break. And I'm going camping for real..YAY! Time for some outdoor exploration.

But still gotta find some time to catch up with missed work. I'm always lagging behind when it comes to keeping up with whatever that's taught in a week(or weeks for that matter).

I just bought a 2GB pen drive for $12.45, is it cheap? I have no idea.. I think it is. Coz the other day I saw a 1 Gb one for $11. It was so random man, bought it off a counter while paying for printer ink.

I saw the new 4th generation IPOD NANO chromatic. So nice! Lowest storage space is 8GB.. which is damn alot compared to my 1st gen which only has 2Gb.. :-( But if I really do get it..I would either get silver or red..sigh, I kept debating about which colour to get if I really get it(like as if I'm buying it *rolls eyes*).

Have any of u watched 'Death Race'? I LIKE that movie. At first, without reading the sypnosis, I was like "What the heck?", "what the f*ck", "that's impossible", "so fake" all the way. Coz the concept is so impossible. Like it won't happen in real life and I thought they're protraying the movie in today's times. But I like it nevertheless.. I like racing movies, I like the fast and the furious and 2fast2furious, their cars are always so cool, esp with the turbo.

Anyway..found out, after reading the sypnosis, that it's meant to be in FUTURE. Now, that explains the "impossible"-ness. And there's Tyrese Gibson from 2fast2furious. Oh, and another thing is, it's damn disgusting. HAHA, like u get a lot of violent, graphic images, of ppl dying a painful/disgusting death. Watch it and u'll know what I mean. I squirmed at those scenes. The main actor's from the Bank job, italian job and the transporter (if u've watched any of these, i've only seen the bank job, but didn't recognise him, his accent is kinda special).

I'm so "doinks" I'm gonna show u some lame pics.

The Largest Strawberry I've ever eaten

I was trying to measure it..about 5 cm.

Trying to show the size relative to other things

haha, i'm lame.

More lameness coming up.

I just bought my camera on the way back to Melbourne this year during Feb/March. Then I didn't play around much with the after-effects editing functions of it. I only discovered alot of these the other day. I feel like a kid with a newly-discovered toy.. kept laughing like mad at each pic that I edited. It feels like Neoprint. And the pics look so kiddyyyy.. Like maybe a primary 5 kid would love the frames and little stamps to bits.

See this pic below..

such a typical primary or young teenage girl kinda-thing.

I really couldn't stop lol after I put that lame ribbon there and saved it. Was also partially laughing at my lameness, like as if i'm pretending to be a kid again.

Ooh, a sneak peak of the snow pics. The feathers excluded of course!

that's just the frame

What a week!

I think this post is gonna be quite long

It has been such a busy busy week. So many things to do. Esp stupid uni stuff.. haih. Anyway.. as usual, lots of assignments, lab reports and mid-semester tests. I should be studying for my test but I am so nice, I'm gonna take time off studying to blog..waahaha.

This week, there's this Festival of Nations in uni. This is where students from different organisations will set up stalls selling food. And then, there's cultural performances on stage. All these for two days. Being a commitee member of IESS (short abbreviation for Intn'l Engineering Students Society), I had to help out with our stall.

Most of us in IESS are Malaysians, hence, we were selling Beef Rendang with mantao, pisang goreng & lemongrass chicken drummetts. Haha, it was actually quite fun, standing there deep-drying the chicken while people walk past our stall. Like as if I can cook that well. But, the IESS ppl marinated it quite nicely, so it was pretty yummy.

This club called MOMU (Msians of Melb Uni) sold kuih-muih's, Thai club sold Pad Thai, HK association sold French toast, then Sgporean ppl sold their Sgpore fried meehoon. I think some other clubs sold their individual country's food. I didn't really walk around much. I remembered there was satay too. And some korean and indonesian food, Chinese longan/cincau/grass jelly/sea coconut/etc dessert drink, nasi lemak, tau fu fah, Lok-loks(famous in KL) and others.

Anyway.. performances include hip-hop dance, breakdancing(from this newly-set-up breakdancing club), wu shu, bollywood dance, and my favorite, the Taiko Drummers (wah, reminds me of the arcade game man, where u hit the big Japanese drum).

I also went to two uni students' theatre shows during the last two weeks. One's a musical and another's a theatre performance. Both are in Chinese..haha, sometimes I still need to look at the subtitles provided on a screen above the stage.

Now, time for some random-ness:

A very pretty and Renaissance-era-looking chandelier I noticed at a chocolate
shop while Glo was buying chocolates (ahhaha chocolate addict la her)

This street-show statue is quite pretty right? It's a MAN!!

Since I ony have 50 cents spare coins, I gave it to his collection box. And he blew me a kiss.ahaha so funny.

Strawberry Dip, I likee

My friend's cheesecake.

One day, during the holidays, which was damn long ago, in June or July, Teo and I decided to go to this tourist place, called the Shrine of Rememberance. According to their website, it is a place:

"In remembrance of those who served and those who died in the Great War of 1914-1918 and armed conflicts and peacekeeping duties since."

There's a stairs that goes all the way up to the top of the big shrine,
so we're up there in these 2 pics(above and below).

At the front, on the stairs
Teo looks so cool here.

LOL. Taken with self-timer. Stupid wind, my hair was all over my face.

At the right side of the shrine

Fire that never goes off, kononnya

Me being silly..HAHA

We went to the Royal Botanical Gardens after that(just next to it).. this huge ball sculpture was at the entrance.

A little hut made of branches

This tree branch looks like a hand leh!

Lake behind

Ducks in the lake

Out of nowhere, these geese/swans came out, walking freely in the park. So odd.

Well, maybe they're meant to be out and about.

This post has taken me hours to finish. Gone are my studying time. :-(

Anyway.. I really feel like posting ski trip pics. But it's gonna take another few hours, I presume. So next time, folks.

old pictures

webcammed with shenny for a while earlier and she said the wall behind me looked empty. so i decided to develop some photos to paste on the wall and OH the memories!

there's more... but lazy to upload. HEHEHE.

2020 First Post

So 2020 started badly overall for everyone, with world disasters keep coming. However I didn't think it was bad as I was still looking...
