My ridiculously long post

Ok this is one of the rarest, rarest occasions where I have the mood to blog, really. As I have told Lyn, when it comes to blogging, I am at my maximum limit of laziness. Don’t really feel like blogging anymore. I suspect noone’s really gonna read this blog anyway. But then again, I guess it’s good to document ur life a bit from time to time. And u know why I say this is one of the rarest time I would blog? Well, because it’s bloody 6.56 am in the morning. Dammmmn, got woken up by my sis when she’s getting to go to school cause I sleep in the same room as her. And now I can’t sleep anymore.

I have a feeling this is gonna be a long-winded post.. it’s been months I haven’t been blogging.

Shenny’s hair is not that ugly as she described in the last post. Seriously. To me, it looks okay, not disastrous-looking.

I still feel very weird that everyone’s driving. Haha, wonder when I’ll ever get used to that. It’s like every single one of my friends who are my age is driving. EVEN those who are one year younger than me. The only person I noe who’s not driving yet is Felicia (she’s learning now though) and Sim Yang. HMPFFFF, makes me feel useless. Haha I cannot stop complaining about that. I tell u, it feels like I’m disabled. Hahahahahha, so drastic. Like I cannot move around myself.

After I got back from Brunei, I went to KL from 7-27 December. It was a pretty decent holiday I guess. Might be a little too long haha. But believe it or not, I really felt there wasn’t enough time for me to shop. Well, partly due to the fact that my grandmother is really ill at the moment, suffering in her final stage of cancer. So I can’t really go out everyday right? A bit too rude. So gotta stay at home in my uncle’s house once in a while and not go out and have FUN.

I’ll just summarize my trip in KL because if I describe too much, lots of paragraphs will definitely appear:

- Was really star-struck because we saw quite a number of celebrities/people involved in the entertainment business (including hosting on TV shows). They are:
--Rynn Lin Yu Zhong (went to his concert) and..
--his guest stars were Ah Du & JJ Lin Jun Jie
-- TVB's Bosco Wong
-- Astro AEC's Phoebe together with BoyzFrenz
-- Astro Wah Lai Toi's Wong Chui Ling
-- U noe, that ABC teacher we used to watch when we were kids, who acts in Holland village, i
think her name is Lee Ping.
-- Went to this event hosted by 8TV for Why Why love (now showing every weeknight at
8.30 pm) where the 3 main stars of the series were there to promote the series to Msians.

- Went to Genting for a one-night stay trip. I really cannot go to Genting anymore. There’s nothing for us to do anymore. Everything looks the same, and we’ve practically gotten on all the rides before in the past few years. So we cam-whored a lot this time with my cousins.

- Went to Singapore for three days, two nights stay by bus. We took the bus (or coach as they call it) and it took about 5 hours to get down there from KL. It was quite comfortable if you were to ask me. Haha and it’s really weird, the seats are quite similar to a plane’s seat. And they serve food, announce things thru the intercom, u can watch movies with a little TV (gotta share though), and they have a “steward”.

- In Singapore, went shopping practically everyday BUT didn’t buy much. We stayed in a hotel in Orchard Road, called Meritus Mandarin Hotel. So…. the stuffs on that road are not exactly cheap. Most of the things are branded -_-“ How do you expect me to buy anything? Sigh. Managed to get myself to splurge on a pair of shoes ( I LOVE SHOES!). Went to the Night Safari on one of the nights. And it’s GREAT. Apparently, it had won some tourist destination awards. U get to see tribal dances, see animals in their nocturnal state quite closely, watch animal shows, etc etc. Back on Orchard Road, I’ll just like to say it’s the perfect cam-whoring place to be. You can take pictures till your camera go on fire & till ur face gets cramped from all that smiling there (a little exaggerated, obviously), with all the street decorations and lightings. Ohh, and the street performances, they’re quite amusing.

- Ok, Singapore was well summarized, moving on back to KL, LOL. My shopping aim in KL was to get lots of dresses & shoes. Somewhere towards the end of the KL trip, I was so into getting tops. So I got just a few dresses, and 5 pairs of shoes (which includes sandals, heels, ballet flats) and about 6/7/8 (don’t remember and lazy to count) tops. Can’t believe I didn’t get any skirts/jeans/shorts. That is so weird of me.

- Didn’t get to go to the Pavillion/Mid valley gardens. But I’m not that disappointed cause I definitely won’t be able to buy their branded goods. So, I’ll stick to Sunway Pyramid, Sg. Wang, 1-Utama (only went for a few hours, sad), Mid Valley, Times Square (didn’t go~). Wah I just realized I only went to so little shopping centres. So saddening. More time in KL, less time to shop, what the heck?

- Met up with friends from Melbourne who live in KL. Nice day, had Italian food at The Curve, a little shopping at 1-U and Ms.Read for tea and lots of catching up. I like The Curve, the atmosphere’s really nice.. so relaxing. I feel like I can just sit there at any of their cafes/restaurants for a whole day, just chatting with friends.

- When it comes to food, it’s super duper thumbs up! I saw my dream foodstall everywhere. Hahaha, sai mai lo, Lyn, plentyyy! I miss Hokkien mee, the yummy honeydew sai mai lo at Gei Dak Sek, lok-lok, oyster omelette (oh-jian), escargots (French snails) and baked oysters from The Ship, yong tau foo with chee cheong fun and sweet sauce, mamak food, etc.

- Wasted 2 days and 1 morning’s time to get my Malaysian learner’s permit for driving and each of these days I have to wake up at 6 am. 1 day to go and attend a 5-hr class on the road laws, 1 morning for the law test which I successfully passed after one day of cramming on the previous day (46/50 ok, don’t play play. hahah actually, it’s no biggie, 42 is passing mark) & 1 day to go for a 6-hr class on car engines and gears which is an absolute waste of time cause it’s not tested and U NEED TO go for that before they issue u an ‘L’ (more of that later). At the end of the 2 long days, I had headaches, curseeeeeee the stupid system.

- On Christmas eve, went to countdown for Christmas at Times Square/Sgwang areas armed with snow sprays. The only thing u do there is walk around, spray it on unknown strangers or get sprayed by them. And spray on innocent cars/motorcycles…hahah, nasty~

- Had a lovely Christmas BBQ another auntie’s house. Great food! Praising my auntie for marinating them so well. And for the first time, I see kids/teenagers (ranging from ages 8-16) barbequing for us adults (yes, I claim I’m adult, I didn’t even lift a finger at the barbeque fire, just maybe help a little in skewering the meat and applying oil/honey). I just sit there and eat..muahahha, like a queen.

- Learnt how to play Sudoku and got addicted for a while there. I still do some puzzles nowadays back in Brunei. I like that it’s very brain-stimulating.

- Watched a TVB series during whole stay there. A very good one, highly-recommended, it’s called ‘The Ultimate Crime Fighter’.

- The weather was BAD when I was in KL. It rained practically everyday. Maybe less than a handful of days where it was completely sunny and had NO rain at all. It sucks cause we didn’t get to go to Sunway Lagoon.

- Attended cousin’s small wedding dinner. For the first time, I have a cousin who’s getting married and so potentially, I’m gonna get to be an auntie very soon. Yay! Cousin as in ur mom/dad’s sibling’s children. Not anything further than that. Hahah because I only know a few of those long-distanced cousins, I think it’s one or two. I’m clueless about the extended family cause we’re not close to them.

- Looking back at my list of blabbing, I sort of realize why I didn’t shop that much. Wasted a lot of time doing non-shopping stuffs. Hahahaha. Nvm, it’s okay. Holidays are not all about shopping, right? Or is it? I guess in my case, not. Cause I gotta care about my relatives as well. My dad’s whole family is there in KL, man! Gotta attend to a lot of them at different times, not just go out and shop shop shop and act like all I can think of is shopping. Sometimes I feel so bad when they come over to see us and we’re off shopping somewhere. Moreover we get home pretty late too. The Guilt. On another note, it’s cute that I get lots of little cousins popping up every now and then in recent years. Very fun to play with them 3-4 year olds.

And when I wanna talk about what I did in Brunei after I got back, I become lazy. So next time la! :P

MYGOODNESS GRACIOUS ME!! sniffs~ my original haircolour...bo liao~ replaced by the coloursss on my hair now......sighs~

Last night my aunt&I went to the previous salon where we had our haircuts, Ray's salon.. we wanted to highlight our hair. So so doinks~ cuz the boss, Raymond wasnt there so his assistant, Gary do our hair. We asked him to suggest us some colors and jengjengjeng......... he intro'd me RED? BUTTERSCOTT? and another color i dontknow la, brown-ish..so highlight lo..it was another guy, Allen who did my hair la.. [p/s: he was quite nice..if only he was the one who do the suggestion of the color for my hair..i think it'd suit me more?! sighs]
then the result...OHMYGOODNESS Me..the red is really red..copper red. I kinda complain that the few strands infront was really red and I dint like it..plus tmw I'l be goin back to my grandparent's place, it is for sureeeee my grandpa would nyaknyak..so Allen 'color treatment off' the few strands.. I was then a bit relieved..then we went home.

Last night, I'd a nightmare.. I dreamt my fringe infront was purple in color and however i combed it..the purple stayed there, I screamed and got awake by the dream. Lol..My aunt told me she couldnt sleep too, kept staring at her hair colors.. she wasnt happy of her colors too. So this morning.. we went to the salon again and asked them to do something with my 'copper red' and my aunt's 'orange'... We HAD TO RE-PAY again.. sighs` if the outcome is what i expected... Im okay to pay the sum..but but but.. THE RED IS STILL THERE~ sighssssss`

I just cant express how disappointed/sad/unhappy/moody/scared I am now about my hair color... dontknow wut my mum's reaction will be too when she see the haircolorss.. if only there is a time machine for me to turn back the time to lastnight.. sniffsss~

troubled..

Been coming to the office with my aunt for several days..realised that office work is not very easy eyy, my aunt works as an accountant so basically what she has to do is to classify every expenses of the company into different account n blabla..and has to check bills and open cheques and so many stuffs.. seeing all this, i begin to think for myself.. do i really want to be an accountant? I dont know.

Sighs` have been doing some thinking recently.. and realised i don have anymore interest in becoming an accountant.. I was actually influenced by my aunt in singapore to be an accountant in the past, cuz I heard of her high pay and it sounded very.. COOL actually, but as I grow older and heard her working from day to late night.... hmm....second, third thoughts..

Recently..have a lil interest in being a PR..though i don really know what a PR really do, but I kinda kinda knw it's about promoting the company u presenting to other company+socialising.. hmm, sounds like fun lo~ but of course.. it'l not be as easy as how i think of it now la..
Also, i have a lil interest in being a tourguide.. Hehehe, travelling around and receiving pay for it.. BUT THE MAIN POINT HERE IS... the subject i took in form6 has no connection to the future jobs Im interested in now. I only have engineering and accounting to choose from.. and can u see 'engineering' in me..?? NOOO~ accounting, maybe.. but.. but... sighs~ whenever i think i have to deal with numberss numberss... *stars above my head* lol~
I dont want to be wasting my 2 yrs time in form6.. xs

so I need help.. but who can help? how to help? sighs` i guess i better do more thinking about this..to help myself.. xs

Brunei

Finally, I'm blogging.

Actually had the urge to blog a day right after my exams..but after a while, I got lazy. And then day by day, I got lazier and lazier, especially when using my home's internet in Brunei.. it's slowww.

Ok, so I'm back. And I'm so lazy I tell u, I got no plans to do anything useful which was what I intended to do when I get back here. Day by day, I just watch time fly past me. Really stupid.

I didn't even watch my series/movies I downloaded and brought back. Neither did I cross-stitch nor learn a piano piece nor memorize my favorite Chinese songs (I know this is lame, but I have to, to sing in karaoke when I go to KL). haih.. laziness. Just wake up, eat, sleep, watch tv, go out sometimes and a day is gone. Then repeat the cycle again and again.

But i'm going to KL in 2 days..haha. But going for so longgg. I'm gonna even spend Christmas there, which had never happened since 1998. Gonna shop a lot! I want a lot of shoes and dresses. I hope I buy just a little bit of upper body + lower body clothings.

Oh yah, went out with Lyn, Teo, Vee and Fel on Vee's birthday 30th Nov to Caper's (dunno the full name of the restaurant). The food's great. And I think it's really worth it, the price, to eat so much. Great night, chat chat and cruising for a bit.

Then what I did on the other days consist of running errands with my mom or with Voon Chung (for my mom -_-"), and yum-chas and a lot of TV time. OOh, I went to watch 'Enchanted' today. To me, the movie's not that great. Just ok only, and so predictable. And it's so weird to know that 'One missed call' and 'The Eye' got turned into Hollywood versions.

Ok, dunno what to say. Currently leading a boring life till I go to KL and would finally get to have some fun time there!

p/s: Like what Lyn had said on the tagboard, everyone's gone. Gone to holidays, away from Brunei. hahah no wonder I feel so bored. Like I'm friendless hahahah.

TVXQ'S concert in KL and food poisoned~

The days in KL passed by really fast, It was jus like yesterday eyy I was in the boarding room with apple discussing about what we'l do when we reach KL. The night we reached KL we spent almost an hour to find our hotel..haha, cuz my aunt didnt bring the address out..and it was my cousin n my other aunty who picked us up. Lol~ that was really funny.

The next day, we went to sgwang n bbplaza shop shop shop till i really drop..lol~ bought a lot of stuffs and spent almost half of the money i brought to KL.. but mostly is for my parents and bro sister in brunei.. so yeahs..

The next day, went to 1U using bus. It was the first time I used KL's bus eyy and the journey was superb long~ and we thought we were goin to be 'hollanded' but thank goodness the bus conductor was kind enought not to send us to holland village so we reached 1U after about 45-50mins.. 1U is super big and walked/shopped around almost my leg broke.. lol` didnt buy much stuff in 1U..met up with Carmen, Hui Na and Eping for a while then we go separate ways. At around 6pm my aunt from KL brought us all to eat seafood at a very famous restaurant.. the food there was..scrumptious.. I especially like the cheese crab and the tofu. hehehe. Had a great time there eating. Apple and my aunt did take pic of the food, will upload it when i got the pic from them. Hehehe.. =)

Then the next day shoppin again at midvalley.. lols~ this trip to KL is really all boout shopping.. lol~ so yeahs..shop shop shop~ thennnnnn... the 24th nov came.. TVXQ'S CONCERT!! muahahaha...felt extra excited that day. Went to bbplaza again that mornin cuz apple wanted to cut hair then meet up with Carmen, Hui Na, Eping and Carmen's cousin then they went to the salon to do their hair too. Only carmen's cousin n I didnt do anything with our hair. At around 4pm plus, meet up with my aunt at timesquare and off we go to the concert at pudu.

When we reach there, led by carmen's cousin, we could see the place was already quite crowded and also can see almost everyone was in red;tvxq's fansss. LOL~ and also everyone there was quite high ledy while waiting for the entrance door to be open. Apple and I bought this big book of pic of tvxq which cost rm52. Hehehe.. the concert was really awesome, is just that the ticket i bought was really a lousy place to stand. Thankgoodness to my cousins who brought binoculars so Apple and I used it there.

Towards the end of the concert Apple, my aunt and I sneaked to the zone beside us and there we could watch them all clearly n closely. I cannot believe my own eyes, we were so so so close to them.. too bad i don hav a camera with me and my phone cannot really take good pictures so sighs` but still, that few moments was already more than enough.. *screams* THEY ARE REALLY SUPERLY HOT!

ok, dont mind me. Hahaha. so yeahs... last piece of recent news abt me is.. I was food poisoned, nt fresh one tofu if nt wrong la~ first time i had this terrible stomachache eyyand it was really scaryy..s like pain for a while a while then go toilet doinksss doinksss~ after i got injection from the doc it got better though but the next day got pain again so my aunt brought me to the doc again cuz she was worried it's appendix cuz the tummy hurt at the appendix area.. the doc said it could be early stage appendix so they took my blood and test to see if normal and so thankgod when the report is out, shows that the blood is normal but the doc say stil cannot be sure n blabla..dontknow la..hopefully is jus normal stomachache~ wana get well soon ahh, so pleaseee pleaseeee, my cough n tummy get well soon so my mum wont hav a reason to not let me go to any concert again..cuz my mum said it must be cuz i screamed too much at the concert... lalala~

This blog seemed boring to me eyy, all wordss nia.. hehe, it'd be better hor with picturess... so i'l end this bloggie here now and blog again the next time with picturess. hehehehe.. =)

3 days

Ah hah! Exactly 72 more hours till the very last of my 18 papers!! I am already in the holiday mood. Shenny's already had hers done last thursday. Sigh.

josh calls it the 3 day bump, tomorrow i'll be having an AS core paper 2 and an A2 design paper 5, the day after an A2 core paper 4, and on wednesday an mcq paper 1. Wow! Seems like it's everything except practical! Haha this looks sooo scary.

so instead of studying during the weekend, i'm destressing by playing Sims! The new PS2 game, SIMS2 Castaway. It is sooo exciting, you create a crew of max.6 people. So a shipwreck happens, then you choose a starting player. Learn all the survival skills, make island clothes, befriend chimps, gather resources to build shelter, craft a raft, go island hopping and search for lost crew members, make a radio transmitter to send SOS, etc etc, it's goal oriented and so very LOST. Does anyone here watch Lost? I think you'll like it very much hehe i do! I'm already halfway through the goals and the crop planting.

oh gosh. Seeing all this out in a paragraph full of text, i suddenly realised how much time i spent on it. I should be studying! Choligernic synapse, auxins, chi squared test, sex linkage, natural selection and evolution should be my best friend. Hmmm that last part reminded me of Heroes. Haha damn all these games and tv shows.

and yeah yeah i'm using morange. It's cool but i'm not gonna pay 8dollars every month when i can get for free something else similar. So i'll make good use of the free 1month trial and unsubscribe later. Mwahaha.
