Today.. 23/7/08

so as usual, I woke up at around 12ish.. sighs~

I dont know why but it's very hard for me nowadays to wake up early. So I had nothing to do and I was left home alone again, so I just turned on the pc and continue watching the last few minutes of my last episode of season 4's Grey's Anatomy[because I fell asleep the previous night when I was watching it] and then went downstairs to get something to eat.
sighs` what a life~

then amilyn called and told me about her party, and that it is confirmed in sheraton hotel. Yays, formal she said. I dont know why I was so happy, it's not like I have something to wear already. Maybe I was excited and happy because she just gave me a reason to go shopping again. Hahaha.

So I made some phone calls and messages and then I watched Ghost Whisperer on Tv. I've always liked to watch that series. Anyone has the whole series/season? Hehehe, please..thankyou.
ok, Dmm.

and then Jeewei texted she will drop by..so she came at around 3pm and we chatted some wuliao stuffs..and then she went back to work at arnd 4.45pm..

so, somehow there was going to be a dinner at RedCanopy with few ppl so the few ppl who came was Pk, Jung, Lyn, Carmen, Jeewei and myself, and because some of them was in working attire.. so the sampatness came.

Suddenly the dinner became the Sampat Inc's Annual Dinner... wth~lol

and there were posts like The CEO, Marketing Sales Manager, Finance Manager, The Spokesperson, Human Resource Manager and the Security Manager. Hahahahaha.. I LOL'ed and started to take pictures of the people~

The Food.

Didnt take a very nice picture of the food because we already started eating when I wanted to take the pictures, moreover..I'm not a professional photographer who knows the angles and stuffs.

Well, the food was not bad though; Tom Yam Soup, Omelette, Garlic Chicken and I think that is Kailan with beef? lol. Forgot~

I did not take a picture at the restaurant so I took this when I reached home.

so after the dinner, the people went to do some shopping and only The CEO bought a top for herself at the itop.

and why dint we buy anything?

Because The CEO did not give us salary LO... haha!!

Movies

Went to watch The Dark Night last Sunday. It was FANTASTIC!!!

I super super like JOKER, played by Heath Ledger. He did such an awesome job portraying Joker. Can’t think of how much better another person can ever do it. Haiyar.. but it’s such a waste he’s dead. Otherwise, he’ll be so recognized for his performance and his career would have soared higher. Joker was soooo freaking nasty.. seriously gives u the creeps if u are ever next to him, can kill u any time, any omg-way. And his laughter.. like as if he’s high on crack and at the same time, creepy too.



Anyway.. definitely re-watching it again in future. A lot of suspense throughout the movie. Thought it was gonna end every now and then, but it didn’t yet. It seems to me like Joker is overshadowing Batman in terms of who is a more remarkable character. Hmm.. I dunno, tell me what u think. But Batman’s cool also, in his own way, esp his gadgets + very beautiful cars/bike. And when he saves people effortlessly with his super strength. Btw, I think that the lead actress looks like Kirsten Dunst, just that she’s not.

Oh and u know, Edison Chen only got a mere few seconds of appearance on-screen. He was supposed to have more scenes/longer appearance, I think( not sure how reliable this source is) …but u know, that scandal made the producers cut some of his time on-screen.

Anyway, also downloaded and watched ‘You don’t mess with the Zohan’ and ‘The Love Guru’. Both are relatively dumb movies which I enjoyed laughing all the way through. Haha, yes, I know I am contradicting myself here. But u know, sometimes these movies, they’re like spoofing lots of stuff from everywhere and they say really stupid things like insulting/talking about people/things that happened recently. Anyway… if u’ve watched them, you’ll get what I mean. Same feeling I get when I watched ‘Meet the Spartans’, the Scary Movie series, Date Movie, Epic Movie. And they seem to really love including hilariously obscene stuff too. Goooodness.. in that Zohan movie, Adam Sandler has an accent that resembles Borat’s. weird indeed. He loves showing off his big bulging crotch and he even rubs it on old women’s shoulder. -__-“ HAHA But do watch it.. it will definitely make u laugh like hell. Well, at least those “crotch” parts.

Looking forward to watching The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and Mamma Mia.

my very interesting day with Shenny

today i woke up super early, 5:30am because the night before i slept at 10pm. which means you guys (you know who you are) who were chatting on twitter at 12+ to 1am KACAU me when i was having my beauty sleep!!

and then shenny also woke up early (i know coz she tweeted, and twitter is used like this for information exchange, NOT for chatting!!)

so i was already cooking breakfast (mashed potatoes) and my dad left without eating (EEEEEE!!) then i asked shenny to come over to my place for breakfast, since she was going to jenny's place (fyi jenny and i are neighbours.)

then they arrived, i forced them to makan, together with the cheese omelette i made while they were playing table tennis (i have a pingpong table at my house! wheee!) after that we went to UBD coz they had to collect their envelope of.. and i eng eng also got the envelope too because somehow my name was also on the list! heeh.

after that we lepaked around town for a while, then jenny had to go home, so shenny and i went shopping at the mall for irrelevant stuff. ended up buying some clothes at ego and rockpaperscissors. btw my baiduri card got makan-ed by the stupid ATM just cos i didn't take it from the slot for more than 20 seconds! EEEEEE !@#$%^@#$%&@!&*#

met up with jayden, pk and carmen at cheezebox (spelling?) for lunch. cool eh, they got that button thingy for service so you don't have to flail your arms in the air everytime you want to order for something from the waiter/waitress (good for people with smelly armpits)

after that went to shoot hoops at the arcade for a while, then shenny had to ambil her mom from a nearby place, then her sister at CHMS, and because of some undisclosable reasons, shenny was already in a bad mood from an argument with her mom.

here is the HIGHLIGHT of the day.

after bringing shenny's sis from CHMS, we went to bandar coz shenny had to go to her auntie's shop for a while to buy black kain to make her UBD orientation skirt. looking for parking, couldn't find any along the road we were at, then shenny took a u-turn..an illegal one. her mom was already singing coz she said behind us was a police car, later kena saman. thank goodness, didn't kena. but the police was staring already.

and then still cannot find parking space, and shenny's mom sing some more so she was really frustrated, so at the end of the road, she made another illegal uturn lagi! OMG this time the police car was still behind so kena pulled over. her mother open concert already. honestly i was very nervous, it was like watching a tv drama. my heart dub dub dub.

then what else.. kena saman lu....




after that, things were really tense in the car. found a parking space, went to get the kain, some more singing, then to the police station (argue lagi, about which station to pay the fine. haiihhhhh!)

in the end, went to the main station opposite RTB. jadinya, cannot pay the fine yet because they haven't logged it into their report book. have to wait for their call in about a week's time.

I went to the beach again just now with my small sister and a friend and oh, I was so captivated by the beautiful-ness of the beach and so I reached for my sew810i and snapped many pictures...

Today is His Majesty's Birthday!!

Because it is His Majesty's big day, it is a Public Holiday.

So, today is also a Public Holiday.

Okay, this is getting nowhere..

so, main points->Last night I went to watch the movie 'Journey to the centre of the earth' with my cousin, sister and my aunt at 11.15pm, thought the movie would be boring because the poster didn't looked very interesting but It turned out to be quite a good one and we all liked it. *thumbs up* well then reached home abit late after the movie at around 1ish and marathon'ed Grey's Anatomy until 4am.

So because it's a public holiday, my dad was home and when he is at home, he'd always think of a way to wake everybody up at the time he wants us to be UP.. so at around 12pm, he came into my room and 'E O E O', as in really singing it.. sighs~ so I only slept for 8hrs.. blehs~

I had a great day today though, had lunch with my family at the Rms Diner then off my sisters and I go with my Aunt Joey then. We went to mani/pedicure and after that we went to eat/drink. At around 6ish, my small sister wanted to go to the beach to see sunset so we decided to go and there we took some pictures with my sew810i..

Picture Blogging!

So I did say to post up pictures of what we did after the second round tri-extreme last last Sunday; the beach and the modelling lalala~ so Here are the picturess... and yeahs, I'm goin to let the pictures do most of the talking in this blog.. Hehe.. =)

We all thought it'd be nice to hang out at the beach for a while because we never really get to hang out every sunday after the tri-extreme as bunny always wants to rush home. Hehe so we head to the Jp beach for a while and eventually just vained all the way..

Actually, this is just the beginning of the many pictures we took that day.. but I guess I'l just stop here first and hehe, suspense suspense eyyy ;)

and I did say too that I'l post up some of the second round's tri-extreme pictures ey.. here, pictures of Silverplay having Roti Kosongs' as breakfast before the tri-extreme, yumm ^^

After the breakfast, we head to Jp right away to register & while we were waiting for the mc to start the briefing, we took some more pictures and here is a random picture I chose to post up.

So the game started at 9am and we have to finish all 6 tasks at 1pm and the fastest team that finish all tasks wins.

The aboves were taken when we tried to attempt the task called 'triple threat' and we failed to complete the task.

Name of the task: Speed Racer, but this is not about who comes first and win BUT it's a memory test. Along the roadway, there are 20 signboards where u have to memorise and jot it down in a paper, Orderly. We failed to do this task too. Heh~

Name of the task: Eww. And this is where I sacrificed my 'lovely-nails-that-were-going-to-be-manicured' to.. see the wriggly-ewwy-worms in there. lol` but I thought my teamates' tasks in this EWW task were eww-er than mine. Hehe=)

Anyways, we only completed 4 tasks out of 6 and we thought we did quite well already because at the 'eleventh hour' of the game, we thought we could only complete one task because we were really running out of time.

but we still did it..and completing 4 tasks out of 6 really wasn't that bad and I'm really, really very proud of my team, Silverplay.

To end this blog, I've come up with a question. Very easy one.. haha.. now who can tell me, who is that girl in that picture below?
